| Ayurvedic Health Program Objective
The purpose of this program is to develop the student into an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Therapist. The focus is to teach students how to determine a client’s state of health from the perspective of Ayurvedic medicine including such concepts as body constitution, the five elements, subtle anatomy and the Ayurvedic concepts of disease management. Graduates should be able to design and consult on lifestyle protocols for clients including vedic diet, yoga postures and herbal and aroma therapies for the client to attain optimum health. Students will understand vedic medical energetics and treat accordingly using various vedic massage, breath, and exercise (yoga) treatment modalities. Graduates of this program will also be eligible to take national and state licensing exams for massage licensure.

| Ayurvedic Health Program Description
This course will train students in basic minimum requirements of massage training with a vedic emphasis as well as train the student to advise on Ayurvedic lifestyle practices. It is taught in week-end module blocks once or twice a month and there are 17 co-requisite ( A & P, and general education credit) requirements that can be completed at any accredited college. FCIH Courses will cover all aspects of Ayurvedic understanding including diet, diagnosis of health levels according to methodology specific to ayurveda, herbology , yoga, aromatherapy, meditation and philosophy. In the independent study a preceptor will oversee the work to ensure an understanding of Ayurvedic applications in the field creates a solid foundation of knowledge and consultation abilities.
